10-minute fitness training program: Day 10

Hi! Yes, I know. I hopped over a day again. It happens sometimes. Family circumstances. However, I did do the day 3 program again, on Sunday I went running, and have been researching tons of sites for good additional exercises and trying them out. Here is the running program : 1. Warm up by using circles : Circle your head, your shoulders,   your arms, your hips, your knees, and your ankles. Do 4-5 circles for each joint on each side, rotate clockwise and anti-clockwise. 2. Start with a 1 km jog at a good moderate pace. 3. Do a 200 m sprint, followed by a walking rest. Repeat. 4. Do a 150 m sprint, followed by a walking rest. Repeat. 5. Finish with 2 x 100 meter sprints alternating with a walking rest. Give yourself a big pat on the back. You can time yourself (or have someone else time you) with a stopwatch . Hi! Today I have not only rerun the program of Day 2, but I have done something else: finally gotten some pictures! (admittedly not very good ones, but better than nothing.) So look for updates! Something I have not put in my profile is that I used to have my own company. 10-minute Fitness Training program; Day 8

Hi! I have just been repeating the program of Day 2, but for my own records and for motivation I wanted to record that I actually ran through the whole program with a smile on my face (except for when I was panting too heavily :). I can really feel the difference and I am actually thinking that I might speed up buying the heavier weights. I hope you are also hanging on! Underneath is a pic of me trying my best to hang on with a zumba lesson on the cruise ship-yes, that was a cruise in the Caribbean in December 2015.  By the way, Sweden won in handball over Hungary today! OS-hopes are going up! I have been bidding on the Fitbit   and been very close to actually winning it after only 5 bids (!) but sadly I had to go (back to work) and I lost it. But I am not giving up. End of week 1 of the 10-minute fitness training program

Hi! Today I have just started on the first day on the second week. I have repeated day 1 of the 1st week, so I am not going to repeat that here. If you have been following along, congratulations! Give yourself a HUGE pat on the back! This week I am just repeating week 1 or doing cardio, and thinking of exercises for the next 2 weeks when I will be starting on a slightly longer, 15 minute program every day. Hanging on? Since we are excercising every day, it is not too bad if for one reason or another you have to skip a day...but don't make a habit of it. TIP: One way I get myself up to par if I don't feel like doing exercising is just to put on my training clothes and say I will just be doing a little. I usually end up doing most of what I planned or sometimes more. Hi! Those of you who really are on the ball will have noticed that I actually hopped over the sunday. You know, blah, blah, family visit, we did the power walk and I did the cleaning which in itself is a workout. But ok. Here is finally the last workout for the first week. I am sad to say that I had a little problem getting up motivation and therefore did not think or anything, just put on my training clothes and got going. And you know what? Once you get active you just get going, and my motivation just went up with every minute. 10-minute Fitness Program, week 1, Day 5

HI! This has been the hardest day so far to find new exercises, not so much to find motivation, I was raring to go. So I made it very easy for myself, with regard to innovation. BRACE YOURSELF! If you thought this was going to be an easy day, oh no! That was what I thought I was going to do! (I should have known better.....) Ok here goes what I did: Warm-up_ SALSA! 10 minute fitness program Week 1 Day 6

Hi there, I am still hanging in there, but not always as motivated as I would like to be. Had some getting-started problems, but I put on my training clothes, and then I just got going.  Here is the program I did today (and boy was I glad I finished it!!!)   1. Twenty squats with overhead press: multi muscle exercise. Ordinary squats but combined with an overhead weight lift of the arms. Good start-off. 2. Twenty backward lunges and lateral arm lifts : Start in an upright position, put one leg a firm step backwards, sink down, and at the same time lift both arms to the side (with weights).
